1. Intellectual Property & Reproduction
All works created and sold by Lit Lamps are original, one-of-a-kind pieces of functional art. All designs, objects, images, descriptions, and content are the exclusive intellectual property of Lit Lamps.
Reproduction, duplication, imitation, or resale of any design or artwork—whether in part or in whole—is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Lit Lamps.
2. One-of-a-Kind Artwork
Each piece is handcrafted and singular in nature. Due to the uniqueness of these works:
No two pieces are ever identical
Sold items cannot be replicated or replaced
Variations, patina, and material markings are intentional and part of the artwork’s character
3. All Sales Are Final
All sales are final.
Because each piece is custom, original, and irreplaceable, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges once an order has been placed.
Please review all descriptions, dimensions, and photographs carefully before purchasing. We are happy to answer questions prior to sale.
4. Shipping & Insurance
All items are shipped via UPS and are fully insured at the time of shipment.
Insurance coverage applies only during transit
Insurance claims are governed by UPS policies
Once the item is marked as delivered by UPS, responsibility transfers to the buyer
Lit Lamps will provide shipping documentation and assist with insurance claims when applicable.
5. Loss or Damage in Transit
Due to the irreplaceable nature of our work:
Lost or damaged items cannot be remade
Compensation, if applicable, is limited to the insurance payout provided by UPS
Lit Lamps is not liable beyond the value covered by the carrier’s insurance
Any shipping issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic documentation of packaging and damage.
6. Limitation of Liability
Lit Lamps is not responsible for:
Delays caused by shipping carriers
Damage resulting from improper handling after delivery
Electrical issues caused by improper installation or use not in accordance with provided guidelines
All lighting pieces should be installed and used in compliance with local electrical codes.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
